A key for long-term weight management is to really start when you’re young. You need to feed your kids healthy food. You need to show them what is right and what is wrong. Are they getting a happy meal from McDonald’s or are they getting really high quality food like fruits and vegetables. It’s really important to start when you’re young because if you start eating healthy when you’re young, you’re probably not going to have a weight problem when you’re older.

But it takes constant vigilance and planning so you need to think about what you’re going to eat. You need to plan your meals. You need to have goals. So in order to have long-term weight management, you need to start when you’re younger which will help you to continue with those healthy habits when you’re older.
